With 21,000 animals living in 125 acres of award-winning zoological gardens, Chester Zoo is one of the best conservation zoos in the UK.

The zoo’s mission is to be a major force in conserving the living world and it currently cares for over 500 individual species, around half of which are endangered. It also helps thousands more animals around the world through its conservation and education activities.
